《그 이름을 기억하라》
루크는 재판이 끝난 어두운 지하실에 혼자 남아 있었다. 벽에는 아직도 엘리사 판사의 피가 말라붙어 있었고, 희미한 촛불만이 공간을 비추고 있었다. 그는 한 장의 종이를 꺼냈다. 다음 대상의 이름이 적혀 있었다.
오승호. 대통령.
대한민국의 권력 정점에 선 자. 공권력과 군대를 이용해 수많은 시민을 억압하고, 반대 세력을 고문했으며, 막대한 세금을 자신의 사치와 부패에 탕진한 인물. 언론을 장악하고, 법원을 무력화시킨 뒤, 그는 스스로를 '민주의 수호자'라 불렀다.
그러나 루크는 진실을 보았다. 무너진 시위 현장. 살해당한 기자들. 그리고 숨죽인 국민들의 얼굴.
“이제… 심판받을 시간이다.”
그는 자신이 세운 '최후의 법정'을 위해 준비된 계획을 펼쳤다. 한국의 한 폐기된 군기지. 그곳이 다음 심판장이었다. 비밀리에 납치될 대상은 대통령이 아니라, 그의 그림자 — 윤대령, 모든 더러운 일을 실행에 옮기는 사람.
그날 밤, 윤대령은 비밀 별장에서 사라졌다. 다음날, 대통령의 공식 일정은 ‘건강상의 이유’로 취소되었고, 청와대는 침묵했다.
며칠 후, 웹 다크넷에 영상 하나가 올라왔다. 제목은 단 하나의 문장.
“그대는 권력을 휘둘렀고, 그 칼날은 무고한 자들을 찔렀다.”
영상 속 윤대령은 철제 의자에 묶인 채, 피투성이가 된 얼굴로 울부짖고 있었다. 그 뒤로, 피해자들의 사진과 이름이 하나씩 나타났고, 마지막엔 루크의 목소리가 들렸다.
“심판은 계속된다.”
Episode 3 – Chapter 25
Remember That Name
Luke stood alone in the aftermath of the trial. The faint candlelight flickered against the dried blood on the walls — the final remnants of Judge Elisa Morgan's judgment. In his hand, he held a single sheet of paper.
Oh Seung-ho. President.
The apex of power. A man who had used the military and police to silence dissent, torture opposition, and squander the nation’s wealth in the name of personal indulgence. He had suffocated the press, shackled the courts, and proclaimed himself the “Guardian of Democracy.”
But Luke had seen the truth. Crushed protests. Silenced reporters. A nation forced into quiet submission.
“It’s time,” he muttered. “For justice.”
His next trial would be prepared meticulously. The location: an abandoned military facility in Korea. The next target was not the President himself, but his right-hand man — Colonel Yoon — the executioner of the President’s darkest orders.
That night, Colonel Yoon vanished from his private villa. The following morning, the President's official schedule was mysteriously canceled “due to health reasons.” Silence fell over the Blue House.
Days later, a single video surfaced on the dark web. Its title was a single sentence:
“You wielded power — and it cut down the innocent.”
In the video, Colonel Yoon was strapped to a steel chair, bloodied and pleading. Behind him, images of the victims faded in and out. Names. Faces. Grief.
And then, Luke’s voice:
“Judgment will continue.”
