제9장 – 바뀐 운명
Chapter 9 – Rewritten Fate

불길한 붉은 안개 속,
루크는 자기 무덤 앞에 서 있었다.
그의 이름이 새겨진 검은 비석.
태어난 날은 맞았지만,
죽은 날이 바뀌어 있었다.

Amid a sinister red fog,
Luke stood before his own grave.
A black headstone bore his name.
The birthdate was correct—
but the death date had changed.

2021년 8월 14일
그는 이 날짜를 알았다.
그가 죽은 날이 아니었다.
이건… 나오미를 처음 만난 날이었다.

August 14, 2021.
He knew this date.
It wasn’t the day he died—
It was the day… he met Naomi.

“그 누구도 네 기억을 완전히 믿지 마.”
낯선 음성이 그의 뒤에서 속삭였다.

“Don’t trust your memories completely,”
a strange voice whispered from behind him.

그는 돌아섰다.
그림자도, 인간도 아닌 존재.
그것이 서 있었다.

He turned.
It stood there—
not shadow, not man.

“넌 심판자가 아니었어.”
“너는 그렇게 만들어진 거야.”

“You were never a Judge.”
“You were made to be one.”

“무슨 말이지…?”
루크는 속삭였다.
“나는… 내가 본 걸 기억해. 내가 한 일을 기억해.”

“What do you mean…?”
Luke whispered.
“I remember what I saw. What I did.”

그 존재는 손짓했다.
그리고 공중에 하나의 장면이 떠올랐다.
불에 타는 거리, 무릎 꿇은 남자.
그리고 그 위에 선 루크—아니, 셋째 존재.

The entity gestured.
A scene appeared midair:
a street on fire, a man kneeling.
And above him—Luke.
Or rather, the Third Entity.

그 장면 속의 루크는 웃고 있었다.
잔혹하게, 차갑게,
기계처럼.

The Luke in the scene…
was smiling.
Cruelly, coldly,
like a machine.

“이건 거짓이야…”
“이건 내가 아냐.”

“This is a lie…”
“This isn’t me.”

“하지만 기억이 바뀌면
넌 그렇게 될 거야.”

“But when memory bends,
you become that lie.”

루크는 무릎을 꿇었다.
혼란이 그의 숨을 앗아갔다.
가슴속의 심장은
이제 분노도, 정의도 아닌
공포로 뛰고 있었다.

Luke dropped to his knees.
Confusion stole his breath.
His heart beat now—
not with rage or justice—
but with fear.

그 순간,
누군가가 그의 손을 잡았다.
나오미였다.

Then—
someone grabbed his hand.
Naomi.

“이 기억이 진짜야.”
그녀가 말했다.
“내가 널 본 순간부터… 넌 진짜야.”

“This memory is real,”
she said.
“From the moment I saw you… you were real.”

그리고 바로 그 순간,
셋째 존재는 뒤로 물러났다.
빛이
그 어둠 속에 틈을 냈다.

And at that instant—
the third entity stepped back.
Light
cracked the darkness.

루크는 숨을 들이쉬며 일어섰다.
그는 아직 완전히 쓰러지지 않았다.

Luke inhaled sharply and rose.
He hadn’t fallen completely—
not yet.
