Chapter 11 – The Hunt Resumes

루크는 어둠 속을 걸었다.
비가 내리고 있었고,
밤은 길었다.
하지만 그에겐 익숙한 감각이었다.

Luke walked through the dark.
Rain fell,
and the night stretched long.
But to him, it was all familiar.

옛 시절, 그는 이와 같은 밤마다
심판의 명단을 품고 거리를 헤맸다.
지금은… 그 명단이 없다.
그러나
그의 몸은 아직 기억하고 있었다.

In the old days,
he roamed the streets on nights like these,
carrying his list of judgment.
Now… there was no list.
But his body still remembered.

“그 놈이 움직이고 있어.”
루크가 중얼였다.
“에즈라 로크.
넌 내 눈앞에 나타나겠지.”

“He’s on the move,”
Luke murmured.
“Ezra Rourke.
You’ll show yourself soon.”

나오미는 멀리서 그의 뒤를 따랐다.
그녀는 루크를 믿기로 했지만,
그의 어깨 너머에 깃든
그림자의 존재는
쉽게 믿을 수 없었다.

Naomi followed from a distance.
She had chosen to trust Luke—
but not the shadow
that lingered just over his shoulder.

그림자는 조용히 속삭였다.

The shadow whispered quietly.

“우린 다시 심판자가 됐다.”
“We are the Judge once more.”

“하지만 이번엔…
규칙이 없다.”

“But this time…
there are no rules.”

루크는 멈춰 섰다.
그의 앞에는 오래된 공장 건물이 있었다.
철제 창살, 무너진 벽,
그리고 안쪽으로 스며드는 미세한 피냄새.

Luke stopped.
Before him stood an old factory building.
Rusty bars, crumbling walls—
and faint traces of blood wafting out.

“첫 사냥감이 이 안에 있어.”
그림자가 말했다.

“Our first prey is inside,”
the shadow said.

루크는 숨을 내쉬었다.
심장은 평온했다.
그는 두려움을 느끼지 않았다.
왜냐하면—
이 순간만큼은
그가 무엇인지
명확했기 때문이다.

Luke exhaled.
His heart was calm.
He felt no fear.
Because in this moment—
he knew exactly
what he was.

“나는 심판자다.”

“I am the Judge.”
