밤이 다시 왔다.
하지만 이 밤은 다르다. 루크의 눈에는 더 이상 단순한 어둠이 보이지 않는다.
그의 시야는 어둠 속에서 숨겨진 것들을 포착하기 시작했다—죄, 공포, 피의 흔적.

Night returned.
But this night was different. Luke no longer saw just darkness.
His vision now detected what hid inside it—sin, fear, traces of blood.

창문을 열자, 거리의 소음이 쏟아져 들어왔다.
자동차, 술에 취한 남자들, 깔깔 웃는 젊은이들…
그 모든 일상 너머에, 그는 ‘표식’을 보았다.

He opened the window and let in the city’s noise.
Cars, drunken men, laughing youths…
And beyond all that, he saw the mark.

그의 눈앞, 건물 옥상 위에 검은 기운이 떠다녔다.
형체는 없지만, 루크는 본능적으로 그것이 ‘대상’임을 알 수 있었다.

There, atop a rooftop, floated a dark aura.
No clear form, yet Luke instinctively knew—it was a target.

“Am I the only one who can see this?”

그 순간, 가슴 속 인장이 뜨겁게 반응했다.

In that moment, the sigil in his chest flared hot.
He lowered his head briefly. A name and a crime surfaced in his mind—
The information flowed into him like water.

“브렌트 고먼. 전직 경찰. 뇌물, 증거 조작, 피해자 강간 및 살인.
법으로는 입증 불가. 현재 자유.”

“Brent Gorman. Former police officer. Bribery, evidence tampering, rape and murder of victims.
Legally unproven. Currently at large.”

루크는 눈을 떴다. 숨이 차오르고 있었다.
이건 복수가 아니었다.
그는 알았다—이건 '정의'라는 이름을 빌린 사형 선고였다.

Luke opened his eyes again, breath quickening.
This wasn’t revenge.
He knew—it was a death sentence disguised as justice.

그는 창을 닫고 천천히 옷장을 열었다.
이제부터는 준비가 필요했다.
그는 더 이상 학교 상담사가 아니었다.
그는 선택된 사자였다. 심판의 그림자였다.

He shut the window and opened his closet.
He needed preparation now.
He was no longer a school counselor.
He was the chosen agent. The shadow of judgment.

“Brent Gorman… you’re first.”

그리고 그 밤, 루크는 조용히 사라졌다.
